Isaiah 40 28-31
Isaiah 40 28-31
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Tammy and I (along with the whole choir) were blessed tonight to sing a song that is composed straight from the verses above.
Just a short word of encouragement.
Do you feel like you are fainting? Are you lacking in the area of might? Well, we serve an awesome God!
In case you don't know or haven't heard ---
- He IS Everlasting
- He IS Lord
- He IS The Creator of everything
- He IS not tired
- He DOES NOT faint
The word shall appears six times in these four verses. I know it's going to happen.
Please, if you are tired and beaten down by circumstances, take a step back and WAIT on the Lord. Let Him renew you, refresh you, energize you.
I don't know about you but I want to be on wings like eagles. Do you want to soar? Then WAIT!
Thanks to all of the workers in the youth group tonight, over thirty five kids in attendance. Let's keep on soaring.
Love,
Bro. Allen
